About Us

Maine Thespians is a state chapter of the national organization, Educational Theatre Association (EdTA), promoting programs and activities to support educational theatre for students and teachers, including the International Thespian Society, a dramatics honor society for high school students.

EdTA sponsors two national festivals each year. The International Thespian Festival for students, in June, and the EdTA Conference, in October, for teachers.
